- Pluto comments on dozens of e-mails submitted by Browns fans, along with anecdotes on the club's history--more on the real Browns than the current piece of @##%$%^#. Worthwhile but lacks the humor of "Loose Balls", etc.
- TERRY PLUTO DOES IT AGAIN WITH A GREAT BOOK ABOUT WHY FANS STILL ARE INTERESTED IN THE BROWNS. THE BOOK COVERS MANY BROWNS PLAYERS AND MOMENTS. ALONG THE WAY, THE FANS WRITE ABOUT THEIR FAVORITE PLAYER OR MEMORY. FROM THE DRIVE TO PAUL BROWN IT IS ALL DISCUSSED. I HAVE READ MOST BOOKS BY TERRY AND THIS IS ANOTHER WINNER. HE IS MY FAVORITE WRITER FOR THE CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT READ FOR ALL BROWNS FANS. VERY RECOMMENDED.

- If you are a Browns fan, then this is a Must Read. I am not a big book reader, the first chapter has got to catch my interest if the book has the chance to be read. This book caught 150% of my attention as I found at times I had to force myself to stop reading. It puts all the history, excitement, misfortune, and everything else we go through as Die-Hard Browns Fans. Pluto has to be one of the best sports writers there is or maybe has ever been. He brings up very interesting points and backs them with both facts from history and opinions of the Fans. This book makes me proud to be a Browns Fan! I highly Recommend that every Browns fan and Future Browns Fan Read this book!
- Terry Pluto speaks to me. I have followed him since I was a kid and he was a journalist for the Akron Beacon Journal. This is a must have for every Browns fan. I cried a couple of times while reading about family members bonding over the joy and misery of being a Browns fan.
- Terry Pluto has once again written an excellent book on Cleveland sports. In today's world of "band-wagon" fans that jump from winning team to winning team...it was refreshing to read a book that explains what it means to be a TRUE fan. Your team doesn't always have to be a perennial winner (although that's nice). The Cleveland Browns give the fans something to cheer for every Sunday during football season. For those three hours of football...we get to escape whatever problems we have in our lives. We get to root for the Browns...win or lose. Terry Pluto definitely understands Cleveland sports and what kind of fan these teams attract. This book lets the fans help explain WHY the Cleveland Browns draw such loyal fans. It's a very interesting read. Thank you, Terry.
